Hi, my name is Nicole and I serve the North Dallas area as a birth doula.  I'm a wife and mother to three active boys.   Originally from South Africa; my husband and I moved to McKinney when our eldest was only three months old.  

I was fortunate to give birth in three separate cities (including two different countries) and learned how beneficial and empowering it was to have excellent cheerleaders in my corner during my own labors. My second son was born with many medical complications but I was fortunate to have medical providers and supportive members within my birth team who would take the time to listen to my needs, support me in my wishes and advise me with evidence based research without resorting to fear tactics.  It was then I truly recognized the value in being heard as a mother so I listened to the Lord’s prompting, prayed over the decision and became a doula so that other mothers could have the same opportunities.

I want all my clients to feel empowered and confident about their pregnancies and upcoming birth.  I want all my clients to feel that they are equipped to make calm, informed decisions that best suit them during their pregnancy and deliveries.  I love serving mamas during one of the most vulnerable, exhilarating and joyful times of their lives.  I truly do consider it an honor.
