Hi, I'm Melissa and I serve the North Dallas area as a birth doula. I am a proud wife and mama to a beautiful little girl and a courageous little boy. Being a mom is one of my greatest joys and serving other mamas is one of my greatest honors. My husband, Josh and I can often be found laughing together at home, a local restaurant, or binging the hottest new show.  

I have been blessed to experience two unmedicated births with the help of proper childbirth education, an intentional birth plan, and a tremendous support team.

Being a part of the first moment of life is a huge blessing - this is a powerful moment to take in and truly appreciate! Building a relationship with mom is vital to what I get to do. I want to be able to tailor my support of the birthing process to each mom’s preferences and needs. Each baby is fearfully and wonderfully made, and I aim to help mamas prepare to see and celebrate that through the whole process.

As a family, we love playing games, dance parties, and being involved at our church. When I get a minute to myself, I love to read! (Send me your book recommendations.) I also love to help out at my children’s school with the PTA.
